About UN1FY Nepal
UN1FY Nepal is a youth-led movement empowering young people across Nepal to address interconnected challenges related to water, climate, and disability inclusion. The organization unites youth from all provinces—with a special focus on ensuring meaningful participation of young people with disabilities—through capacity building, awareness campaigns, advocacy, community engagement, and research. Key achievements include a nationwide workshop on disability-inclusive climate action and a youth-developed agenda. Led by a National Focal Point and supported by teams focused on policy, research, and inclusion, UN1FY Nepal strives for a sustainable, peaceful, and inclusive future shaped by young changemakers. The Nepal Water Conservation Foundation serves as the secretariat of UN1FY Nepal.

UN1FY Nepal envisions a future in which young people are recognized as active partners in creating solutions to the social, environmental, and developmental challenges facing Nepal.
The vision is built around a society where water and environmental resources are protected, climate action is inclusive, and young people from diverse backgrounds—including young people with disabilities—have meaningful opportunities to participate in decisions that affect their communities and future.
UN1FY seeks to strengthen connections between youth, communities, organizations, researchers, policymakers, and development partners so that knowledge and opportunities can move beyond individual projects and contribute to broader change.
The movement also envisions an ecosystem in which youth-led ideas can develop from ideas into projects, projects into measurable outcomes, and outcomes into stories and knowledge that can inspire further action. By connecting young changemakers with resources, expertise, partnerships, and opportunities, UN1FY aims to help create sustainable pathways for youth leadership.
